Atlas Dental Websites was started in early 2009 to meet the growing need of dentists who knew their practice needed a website, but weren’t sure of much beyond that. It was founded by Matt Scovil and Nathan Gilchrist – two guys who had been building websites since the mid- 90’s who noticed that there were a ton of web-design firms around who were interested in making money, but almost none who wanted to take the time to explain how things work to someone who wasn’t married to the internet. Do you know what we found? It’s amazing what can happen when you take the time to slow down and communicate.

We’ve learned a lot along the way. That today’s dentist wants a classy, easy-to-use website that is useful for patients of all ages. That some have personal philosophies about dentistry (or life!) that they want their dental websites to reflect. That they all want to talk to a real person when they call, and not a recording. That just because they might be able to pay a lot, doesn’t mean they should. Imagine that. It just so happens we feel the same way.
